Awesome Aunty
Just wanted you to know we got your postcard. Thanks! Loving your Tour de France blog. You'll have to let us in on the secret of how you took those cycling photos!

Merry Xmas
Hi Ben,
Just updated myself about your adventures following Mum tipping me off at Aqua tonight that you had written some new blogs. Sounds as if you are having plenty of adventure despite the cold. Hope you have a great Xmas trip to Berlin, Prague etc. We will miss you at the family party, but will all be thinking of you and drink some more gluhwein for us! Merry Xmas and more enjoyable wanderings in 2009!
Helen

Thanks..
Hi Ben
Just want to thank you for the postcard. It was a nice surprise. I hope that you survive the cold winters in Europe. Where are you going to celebrate christmas and new year? You are always welcome in Denmark :)

hello
Hi, Have thoroughly enjoyed reading about all your travels!

Hej Ben
I didn't have your adress in France so you missed a postcard from NY og Niagara Falls, where we spent our Autumn Holidays for two weeks. Martin stays in NY for 3 months as a part of his education as a designer. It was very exciting to see NY - I guess you should write NY on your list of coming experiences. Have a nice time in France, Belgium and whereever you go.

G'day, Ben
Well Ben you seem to be coping well with life in France. Hope the weather does not get too cold. It's still dry here, wish you could send some of the rain over here. Your holiday trip sounds great. Make sure you send me a postcard from Ypres. Speak to you soon. Mum

Hello
Hi Ben,
Just got your blog address from Mum today. Glad it is all going well except the knee. I sympathise re. knee problems as I can't do the walk with Mum tomorrow because something has gone in my knee (no time yet to go to the doctor to see precisely what but I am fearing the worst).
As you have realised it will find it takes a few weeks to get on top of the language side of things - no gain without pain as they say. Is the local accent very different from what you were used to?
Let me know if you want any specific vegetarian recipes and we will send them.
Great to hear your descriptions of the place and the surroundings.

Hallo from DK
Hi Ben
Nice to hear that you have arrived safely in Europe. Looking forward to follow your adventures in the cold cold Europe. You better start knitting if you want to stay warm :)

Greetings from the real Perth
Hi Ben

Fantastic to hear all your news - what a interesting adventure. I remember when Rosy and I went to France in 1977 in winter and how cold it was! Hope you can sort out the heating!!

I'm not surprised the French is hard - Rosy too found the northern accents difficult when we were there and she spoke good French- its probably like going to Glasgow.

All the best Mez and crew
