I would recommend to anyone lucky enough to travel to the Kimberley region of Western Australia, is to hire a 4WD and head up the Cape Leveque road. We stayed at the Kooljaman Resort in a Safari Tent...these large sturdy 'tents' have their own bathroom and kitchen area and all mod cons needed along with a rear timber deck. The view is outstanding of a huge white sand beach stretching for miles around to the One Arm Point aboriginal mission - unspoilt beauty!!

To the west is another stunning beach of red sandstone cliffs with amazing sunsets.Not too many places like this still around.... less
