My recommendations when visiting Canterbury would be to stay at Kipps Hostel at 40 Nunnery Fields because of its 'homy' feel, friendly staff and great location (10 minutes walk from the city centre). As for activities, anyone who enjoys would be pleased to walk around the numerous shops on High Street. As the Cathedral is the main attraction of the city, don't miss Evensong at 5:30pm every day from Monday to Friday as well at different times on the weekend. less
