Take an afternoon trip down to Leith (a suburb of Edinburgh down near the docks).  Wicked bars and interesting local folk to stare at!

Do the 'Water of Leith' walk which is free also and takes from you from stunning Stockbridge all the way to Leith along the Leith river.  Awesome old buildings and wicked nature will keep you entertained.
