Where to eat?
Marlin Bar at Horseshoe Bay does big meals at reasonable prices. (the garlic prawns and rice are one of my favourites)  The Sandbar at Horseshoe Bay has fabulous Oysters with a choice of delicious toppings such as Salmon Mornay and Kilpatrick, along with a glass or two of pink champagne whilst watching the sunset!  Coming soon... the largest restaurant in North Queensland.. seats 300 people - Blue on Blue Peppers Resort next to the ferry terminal at Nelly Bay.

Transport Tips
Hire a cute pink Tropical Topless Car to get around the island (they have other colours too!) - to the right of the ferry terminal carpark. its a great way to get around the island and a lot of fun! Bookings highly recommended as they are so popular.

Cool things to do
Jet skiing round the island (from Horseshoe Bay).  Go on the walking trails at the Forts khola spotting.  Feed the rock wallabies (off Geoffry Bay at the old ferry terminal base) and feed the lorikeets at Banglow Bay around 4pm.  
Have a BBQ with ya mates on the beach at Alma Bay and play frisbee.     less
