Back In OZ August - November

Right then, home again...
it took five days of travel to make it  back to oz... but i dont want to talk about that..

i arrived in Brisvegas, got over it pretty quickly and bailed to Airlie Beach. There i caught up with some friends, enjoyed my Jens birthday bash before flying back to Brisbane, hitching a lift with some random from the flight and making my way to Byron Bay.

I hung here for a week with my brother, his girl and my mumma and looked around for a car. Finally i got my new second hand wheels and took them to Sydney. Leaving the car with some mates i flew to Adelaide hung with my other brother for a bit before continuing on to the Barossa Valley for the weddnig of one of my closest friends, jess.

The wedding was stunnning, the reception a blast and the whole week an absolute laugh!

It all went by too quickly and before i knew it i was back in Adelaide, back on a plane and heading for Sydney. My sister was waiting to pick me up to take me to Gymea Bay for a quick nap before starting work on the Kurnell oil refinery at six thirty that night.

that was the kick off of nearly four weeks out there doing ten hour night shift, with only two days off for the entire time... not a bad gig.

When the work was all over Shelley and i moved in to an appartment in Cronulla. On one of our nights off i met this lovely girl who was going to be leaving her appartment for six weeks and wanted someone to water her plants...perfect.. so there we were, rent free in Crunulla about a minute from the beach!

the time flew by, beach, bbqs, harbour cruise, the zoo, nights at northies and catching up with friends.. soon we found ourselves out of time and heading to Byron Bay.

this was an adventure all in its self, we took our time, takeing 3 nights and 4 days to drive the 1000kms...stopping in at all the amazing beaches along the way.

now i find myself in byron bay, house sitting for my bro and his girl, looking for work and still grinning about my current life style!
