Long weekend in Prague with Jo, Ben and Ben's friend Ben.
The weekend started on a pretty bad note and Jo forgot his passport and had to miss his flight from Paris, but it all got better when he rocked up the next day. We manage to find a pretty decent balance between heavy drinking and culture over the weekend.
The sun was out all weekend, and because it was so early in the summer, the place wasn't too overcrowded so we could actually enjoy the old town without getting trampled to death.
We went out to Roxy on the Saturday which turned out to be a pretty fun place. Ben got his money stolen by a hooker when he got out of there at 5 AM, but it still evened out to be a decent night out.
The hangover was pretty violent the next day, but we still managed to find the energy to walk around all day. The sunday night was meant to be a quiet one so we went to a pretty boring looking pub, thinking that we would get bored and go home after a few hours... As the night went by, more and more people showed up, until the bartender shut all the lights off, lighted a bunch of bottles on fire and started throwing burning bottles around (couldn't get pictures of that though
). Although we failed at having a quiet one (a 7 AM type of fail) it was a great night, and the self-hatred on the next day was manageable.
