The McBrides explored Scotland!
The scenery was just beautiful it reminded us a lot of of home - the Isle of Skye a definite highlight.
Each night we settled in to a cosy B&B with friendly occupants who were only to happy to tell us where to eat (the Scottish Salmon was soooooo good) and whereabouts to visit.
We visited many, many, many castles plus a church and an abbey. No luck with seeing Nessie ..... maybe next time. And we just love the "healee coos" translations that's "hairy cow."
It was a fun trip and so good to catch up after almost 3 years!
Farmers market under the castle, Edinburgh
Castle on an island
Another castle - they were just everywhere!
Had the bested lunch in this little town - thank you Lonely Planet!
Isle of Skye
At another castle! But this ones at Loch Ness
We saw so many rainbows as well
