On Saturday we were once again at home at Bounds Green against the always formidable team of Wandsworth, the day was a wild and windy, the wildest we have seen in recent times and the ground was hard as concrete.

The Lions made there way to Barnes Bridge on the weekend to play last years Premiers The Wildkittens. The feel throughout the week was great, after our big win against the Swans the previous week. Training buzzed and was very well attended...
This weekend saw the first matches of 2008 for the North London Lions. There were a full mixed bag of results for NLL teams, with the Premiership team landing a big win against the Swans, the Conference team drawing and the Thirds losing away to the Bristol Dockers.

The inaugural Bobcat Biathlon was held over the weekend at Brighton. Just to explain for all you sport nazis out there - the bobcat biathlon is different to the Olympic biathlon in that it consists of 2 disciplines over 3 legs. That's run - swim - run. The run legs both being approximately 3 kms whilst the swim leg is over 50 meters.
