While staying in Vienna we did a fantastic trip on the Danube. The tourist office were not very helpful but at the railway station we found we could buy an "all in one ticket ".
It cost 44 euros to go from West banhoff to Melk, entrance to the abbeyat Melk, catch the boat down the Danube to Krem and then train back to Vienna. The 35kms of river has UNESCO world heritage listing....
Rome, Italy recommendation
If you have time to do a day trip from Rome I suggest a trip to Sperlonga.
This beautiful hillside town with sandy beaches either side is a very popular spot for Italians - young and old.
Catch the train to Fondi. This connects to the local bus which goes into Sperlonga.
Stay on the bus until you get to the top, then you can enjoy the views before you head down to the beach.
There are lots of places to eat or you can go to the local deli and buy stuff for a picnic and sit on the grass and watch...

If you are in Rome you must go to St Peter in Chains church.
If you are a female make sure your shoulders are covered but it is worth it to see Michaelanglo's Moses and the chains that bound St Peter...
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates recommendation
If you vist Abu Dhabi on a go have lunch at the Emirate palace.
It may seem expensive but the food is superb. If you haqve a car drive to the front door and valet parking will park it for you at no charge....
