we left auckland (sporting one sock, beautifull!) and headed straight for nadi bay in fijji.  we spent a few days there, living the dream by the pool and in the bar before heading to rarotonga for a week. On the flight over, we bumped into a guy that was in our class at school! how bizarre! and ended up soending the whole week together, was wicked fun. Our time on the island was all sun sea and sand!! and of course the odd drink, hee hee.  luckily i managed to loose the sock and trade it for a home girl scarf for the first few days before getting back to normal.  We cruised around the island in our little roller skate (aka the suski swift) swam accross a lagoon to some tiny islands went to an island night (traditional polynesian dance and music) which was awesome fun.  me and emz got dragged up on stage to dance 'polynesian style' ha ha!!!

after rarotonga and a lovely 9.5 hour flight we arrived in LA.  We stayed in venice beach which was awesome,  actually was a guy in a leopard thong roller blading along the strip! as well as loads and loads of hippies!  while there we drove around beverly hills looking for stars houses (sad i know, but it was fun) we found louix vitton, meatloaf and the osbornes.  and the best bit was that when we got to the osbornes we saw a big black van with tinted windows pull up!!! it was def one of the family coz they told us to go away, ha ha!!! after we'd had our fill of beverly hills we drove down sunset blvd, through hollywood and saw the infamous sign, went down rodeo drive thru santamonica and back to venice beach, sweet!

we said bye to LA and the huge portions of food and got on our flight ot mexico city.....
