This was the small 10oz ribeye steak, I had the option of 16 or 24 if I was feeling a little more peckish!
Hotel Carpark - nothing with an engine under a gallon capacity please!
Local housing project, I was amazed to see this as most sections are 1/4 or 1/2 acre so they dont really need multi story housing ... maybe its an old folks home?
Myt hotel ... oh god miles from ANYTHING!!!
The Local shops ... again a good walk across an open field to get to!
A "small" truck, the windows on the door were about 5 feet above the ground ... crazy
Ribfest .. the "highlight" of the fortnight
Those flamin' Aussies got there first!
Ribs, the smaller option again (this is the 1/2 rack)
Couldnt resist taking this pic of a typical midwest stereotype. The pickup IS full of bullet/buckshot holes, it is parked outside the bible supply store, and the guy who got out must have been 90 to the day, hooked up his oxygen bottle (obviously a heavy smoker earlier in life) and headed into the store for his supplies.
More ribfest
More ribfest
A common sight .. locals dressed as farm hands. He probably pushes paper around a desk all day!
Yum Corn ... the only non-pork product produced in Nebraska. Their locak college football team are called the Nebraska Cornhuskers after their most common export.
