Cindy Angel's travel recommendations

Riomaggiore, Italy recommendation
Cinque Terre is amazing! Short and simple I recommend staying in Riomaggiore, the southern most of the five towns. We did the walk between the five towns nice and slowly, buying wine along the way, stopping to chat, swim, sleep, eat pizza Took about 7 hours but arrived in Monterossa just in time for dinner and then caught a train back. Perfect! When in Riomaggiore, must end the day on the rocks by the harbour with a bottle of wine to watch the sunset. Once the sun goes down and the party conti...
Milan, Italy recommendation
Milan itself was not very impressive unless of course you're looking for expensive designer stores and then you're in your element! The Duomo was impressive though and definitely worth the visit and the climb across the roof. I did find a cool part of Milan on my last night though. Head to the canal's (Ticenese and surrounds). The bars there all line the canals and put out lounges at about 7pm and serve aperitivo - 7 euro for a cocktail and all-you-can-eat-buffet. Lot's of good food and the ...
Paris, France recommendation
Ahhh Parais! Paris has so many glorious museum's and palaces to gaze at you can really get museumed out. So when you do, here's my recommendations....... 1. Grab some wine, a blanket, some great company and spend the evening (and usually into the early morning) on the grass in front of the Eiffel Tower soaking up it's magnificence and watching the hourly light display. 2. Pack a picnic lunch and head to Versailles and sit by the lake and watch the boats (and their sometimes struggling rowers) ...
San Francisco, United States of America recommendation
San Francisco was fantastic but really really cold the couple of days I was there, even in summer! The Pacific Tradewinds Hostel was great. Small hostel for 30 people which made it much more homely. Great kitchen and comfy beds. Fantastic staff! If you're feeling energetic, hire a bike from Fisherman's Wharf and ride over the bridge to Sausalito. Continue on to Mill's Woods for some nature walking, continue around to Tiburon for a beer and some food at the wharf and catch the ferry back to Fish...
