A day trip to Kutna Hora
Actually, it would probably be very nice to stay more than a day in Kutna Hora, but for a short and sweet trip out from Prague a day will do.
For some reason we couldn't take a bus from the bus station in Prague on a Sunday. Only trains were available. So, from Prague train station (hlavni nadrazi) you can get return tickets for about 4-8E.

Brussels, Belgium recommendation
Brussels is a place for walking. The best sights are from the pavement, around the next bend, from a different angle, on the other side of the street, or what you happen to be in front of right this very minute.
It is hard to walk anywhere without seeing some beautiful architecture, or a lovely little park, or a querky random something (giant molecule anyone?), or a striking skyline or Tin Tin. Pick a direction and head off.

Cambridge, England recommendation
Cambridge is a great relaxing weekend outside of the hustle of the city. Its relaxed, calm and leisurely.
Food and drinks are great, with tons of nice little cafes and pubs in which to watch the students ride by. At night there are clubs dotted about town which are lively with a wide variety of music playing.
The market is great to browse through on a warm Saturday morning and there are heaps of little boutique shops.

Manali, India recommendation
Up in the northern regions of Himachal Pradesh, surrounded by snow tipped mountains is the town of Manali. What I found most interesting about Manali, and the other small towns in the Kullu Vally, was the mix of Indian and Tibetan cultures and peoples. There are prayer flags blowing in the wind on every bridge and shrines and temples all through the villages.

Buddha View > Open Water recommendation
We did our PADI Advanced Open Water training with Buddha View, on Koh Tao island.
The course took 2 days and we had to do 5 dives in order to complete the course. It is compulsory to do the Deep Dive and Navigation Dive but you choose the other three types of dive. We chose the Night Dive, Multilevel Dive and Peak Performance Bouyancy Dive. The night dive is really a spectacular experience and it comes recommended.
