Road to LhasaNov 01, 2007
We managed to get on the train from Beijing to Lhasa without any problems in Beijing where we got on the road for more than 48 hours. China is a big country, and going all the way across certainly takes a while. We were sharing our room with four other people, all chinese. Our first day was spent looking for a zen garden (apparentl...

The trip to Japan started on a pretty bad note, not because my crazy roomate flipped out and threw furniture from the patio the night before I left but because our flight got cancelled in Vancouver and we had to spend a night there. No big deal, Japan Airlines took care of us and hooked us up with a really nice hotel room near the airport. Since we had a friend in Vancouver, we decided to head dow...
