Ko Phi Phi Highlights (Edit)
This is the kind of place you plan on visiting for 3 days and then wind up canceling the rest of your trip just to stick around! After being in Phuket for a couple of days it was such a nice change to be on an island where there were no tuk tuks or mopeds, and better yet not even any roads!if you do make it to this paradise you have to eat at a restaurant called 'carpe diem', an amazing view and an even more amazing pad thai! the locals on the island are really friendly and you have to admire them after what they went through with the tsunami in 2001. They have a memorial and there are photos of the devastation it caused, they pretty much had to rebuild the island from scratch.
For a good night out the Apache bar cranks on weekends - but your in Thailand, so just grab a bucket of Sansong and Red Bull, plonk yaself on the beach and be merry!
