Koh Samui Highlights (Edit)
Chayang Beach is not right in the middle of the party scene. You can easily walk to that part of the beach in about 5 minutes. The accommodations is generally of a high standard and are an excellent place to rest and relax.One luxury of being in Thailand is getting a Thai massage. We went to Evita (I think), which is on the top of a mountain. It was fairly inexpensive and absolute relaxation. They came to the hotel to pick us up and take us to the spa/resort.
As far as nightlife is concerned, you have to go to a drag show when you are in Thailand. My favorite was Christy's Cabaret. Great music and just a lot of fun.
The beach food is excellent. The grilled corn on the cob and the pineapple on skewers was so fresh!
