Just wanted to say ta very muchely for the diary & pics! Im booked on the grand trek in July 07 & although i was already unreasonably excited, i now cant wait for it to come round! eeeeek! the scenery looks amazing & im pleased that it appears you all got on so well together, even when living in such tiny wee tents & a bus! thanks for a quick insight into the wonderful world of trek - ill let you know how it goes!

Hi, i'm thinking of doing a cross-country trip of USA like yourself. The company you went with seems suitable, could you just answer a couple of questions about the trip? I didnt seem to see or hear a lot about the guide whilst reading your blog, was he/she with you for the whole trip? Also, did you spend a lot of time travelling, i know thats obvious but i mean did you travel all day just to spend an hour at the locations?
