giving away AUD $200 cash to the traveller judged to have written the best travel recommendation each month.
Here are a few guidelines:
1. all submissions must be original (plagiarism is not cool)
2. your submission should be kept under 250 words
3. must be about a destination or tour you experienced and loved!
4. there is no limit to the number of recommendations you can submit
5. if you don't supply a valid email address your submission will not be included
6. adding photos can improve your chances of winning (as long as they are yours)
7. we are a site for adult travellers but please watch your language
On the last Thursday of each month the top 10 will be based on those recommendations submitted in the last 45 days who have received the highest number of votes so make sure you send the link to your recommendations to all your friends and loved ones so they can cast their vote!
The bugbitten.com staff will judge the winner from these top 10 and announce the winner via email and on this message board.
The winner will be contacted and will receive AUD $200 cash deposited directly to any Australian, English or European bank account (conversion rate will based on exchange rate of the day).

Competition Terms & Conditions
1. The Promoter is bugbitten Pty Ltd ABN 60 941 436 683 (bugbitten.com or Promoter), First Floor, 280-286 Sheridan Street Cairns, Qld Australia 4870.
2. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Entry to the competition is free (excluding internet charges).
3. Employees (and their immediate families) of bugbitten.com and its related entities are ineligible to enter.
4. If a winner or prize recipient is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to the parent or guardian of the person.
5. The promotion commences at 12.01am AEST on the 1st July 2008 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 30th November 2008.
6. To enter the promotion, participants must visit
www.bugbitten.com/win, submit a recommendation and provide contact details, as requested, in the online form. A completed recommendation constitutes one valid entry. Participants can enter as many times as they like, but only published recommendation will qualify as a valid entry.
7. All valid entries will be displayed and the top 10 valid entries will be based on those valid entries, submitted in the past 45 days, that receive the highest number of positive votes at 11.59pm AEST on the last Thursday of each month until the 30th November 2008.
8. The top 10 valid entries will be reviewed by bugbitten.com staff who will select one recommendation, according to their judging criteria and discretion. The author of this recommendation will receive AU$200 cash or GBP £100.
9. The winners will be selected on the last Thursday of each month and the winner will be notified by e-mail within 10 days of the decision. The name and country of origin of the winner will be published on
www.bugbitten.com. Chance plays no part in any part of this competition. The total value of this promotion is AU$200 or GBP £100.
10. This is a cash prize and will be paid directly into any Australian or English bank account by direct internet deposit. The winner will need to confirm their bank details via email after receiving notification of their win.
11. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances as it deems fit and the Promoter's decision will be final and binding upon every person who enters.
