Stonehenge: lisanwade's recommendation
On the longest day of the year, thousands travel to Stonehenge for the summer sostice festival (there were about 20 000 people this year). We'd been told about it but didnt know what to expect. We had a great time though because it was free and we got to meet a range of weird and wonderful people. There are food vans set up but bring your own grog (no glass) and smokes. The best part was that this is the only day in the year where that actually open the stones up and let people walk through them. Everyone was packed in the centre listening to people play bongos and dancing around. It was an inncredible experience that i would recommend to everyone.
