Munich is a vibrant city with a young and cosmopolitan population. The people are friendly and there are interesting things to see.

The Science / Engineering museum is amazing.

I stayed at the Hilton as I was there for work. It was pretty good but I would usually rather stay in a private hotel, a Hostal or a B&B.

I tried some local dishes (mainly pork and sausage) which were not great.

The beer on the other hand is excellent. I recommend their Dunkel Bier (dark beer).

You can get books of tickets for the metro and overground trains. Trains go to the airport which is the best way to travel as the roads get busy.
