Rawa is the idyllic picture of paradise, one where the sand is fine as sugar, palm trees decorate the landscape, and the sea's the colour of pure turquoise...!  The place to stay if you're on a budget is Le Club Rawa.  Here, the rooms are basic (no hot water, basic beds), but the service is personal and the food is to die for!

At the time we stayed here, rooms are 165 MYR a night, though you can fit up  to 4-5 people in some rooms for 40 MYR/extra bed.  Food is delicious (try the sweet and sour chicken or fish!) but the corkage fees are fairly outrageous if you're bringing your own booze (90MYR/bottle of spirits).  Bring a wad of cash with you since they don't accept plastic.

If you're looking to put your feet up for a few days and leave your shoes in your room!  This is definitely the place to do it!
