i spent a about ten days staying in palenque. most fo the time was spent relaxing in my hammock in my palapa. for eating we would mainly cook on a camp fire though sometimes we would eat at the resteraunt attached to the hotel. one night we did and illegal night trek into the palenque ruins guided by a shaman called nicolas. we saw Pacals tomb, not normally seen by tourists and nicholas cured my friend ryna by means of jungle plants and rituals.
