Definitely go to Los Roques if you get the chance!  It´s a short flight from Caracas, and the islands are bliss!  Little islands, sand cays, beautiful....!  Lucky for me, a friend organized all the logisitics for me, but do make sure you go, rent a speed boat to day you off the main island (Gran Roques), and spend the day in the middle of paradise!
