Contiki: leonie's recommendation

I did the 12 night European Contiki tour that has accomodation in the hotels.   I would recommend this standard of accomodation for couples or anyone who can afford the bit extra as from what I heard its a lot better than the cabins and camping!
I went with my husband and found contiki to be a lot of fun, the hotel group are usually a little bit older  - mid/late 20's rather than 18 year olds.  There was about 5 married couples on it and being April - early in the season the bus was only half full which was great.
Highlights was Venice for myself and Munich for my husband.  But we loved every city we went to and did most of the extra activities.  
The group was a mixture of Aussies, Americans, Canadians, 3 South Africans, one girl from Japan and one from Mexico.
Pack light - there is a weight restriction which they do adhere too.  Also - dont leave valuables on the bus over-night as we got our bus broken into in Rome.
The tour guide Jason was excellent, was passionate about Europe and made it interesting to learn alot from him.
