Your blog has made me smile, and I can only imagine the fabulous memories you are making.

Hi Kylie, I've asked a friend about your being stuck here, he recommended you get on a Cargo. He said if your papers are complete, they might even give you a free right, especially for a traveler like you. You can check and ask at the harbour in Semarang (since you are going to Yogya). Most cargo ships embarking from Semarang or Surabaya will sail to the East. Have you got anybody to host you in Yogya? If not, you can always stop by at ACICIS in Bulaksumur Blk B-10B, Yogyakarta - Indonesia 55281 =} They're Australian student's doing in country immersion program base camp in Yogya. Hope this info helps =}

Hi Kylie! Great to briefly meet you at the Aussie Embassy Jakarta today! =D I hope I can help you sail away to Oz somehow. (Nataya)
Yeah, it's a great movie isn't it? A little bit different to the type of travel you've been doing of late though! Maybe could make a movie of you packing up your stuff whenever you move places... is it as regimented as he's got it down to? ;-)

Quote from a good film I know (Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events):
"At times the world can seem an unfriendly and sinister place. But believe us when we say there is much more good in it than bad. All you have to do is look hard enough. And what might seem to be a series of unfortunate events, may in fact, be the first steps of a journey. "..
There is ALWAYS a solution : You just need to keep calm and you'll see it...

Good luck mate, I know you will make this work. I wish I had some bright ideas to offer, but looks like you've thought of them already. Keep on pedalling xx
