Alwina's first overseas trip |

The pictures in this blog is all related and linked to Alwina's first overseas trip. She departed from Cape Town on the 9th September 2008 and travelled along with Derrick, KD and Wendy via Dubai (Emirates), Bangkok, Sydney and then on the 11th September 2008, landed at Auckland International Airport, New Zealand. During her stay, she have seen a few cities, namely, Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch. She had the opportunity to travel with me and her travel companions, named above, by car, (in style and luxury) by BMW 7 series, completely from Auckland down to Wellington, then took the Interislander Ferry accross from Wellington to Picton and thereafter drove on further to our destination at Christchurch and stay over at our Christchurch home in Rangiora. While there, we also visited the mountain tops which we asended and desende via the Gondola. After a few days in Christchurch, we returned to Auckland, travelling the same route back. On the 25th September, Alwina and Derrick departed Auckland, heading back to Cape Town, via Brisbane (Australia), then onto Singapore. Dubai and then finally Cape Town, South Africa. This was an experience of a lifetime for Alwina as it was an eye opener and a knowledge extender that remains and no one can take that from her. Good on you Alwina
