How does Google determine what ads to show?
Unlike other ad serving programs, Google reads your travel journal's pages and determines what ads best suit the content (ie story/words) on each page. If your travel journal website just contains photos, the ads being displayed will most likely be irrelevant and there is a high probability you will make little.

All you need to is create a Google Adsense account and add your Google Adsense publisher ID.
