Requirements (page 8 of 8)

In order to create your own online travel journal you will need to make sure you have:

  • A desire to travel!

  • A PC or Mac using either the Internet Explorer or Firefox internet browsers

  • An Internet connection. Dial up is ok however broadband is strongly recommended

  • To use our FAST uploader you will need to download a small piece of magic software. This software is NOT installed onto your PC or Mac but instead into your Internet Browser. You will be prompted via a pop up window to allow this to happen. If you have blocked all pop ups or have anti virus software installed this may cause issues. We recommend if you do experience issues you temporarily disable your pop up blocker and also anti virus. Once installed you should then re-enable it.

  • If you experience issues whilst in an internet cafe ask them for assistance. Some may be easier to deal with than others but you may want to point out that if they do you'll be more likely to spend more with them

  • A little patience. Most of us refuse to read a few simple instructions (sometimes we do too) however just remember we have enabled travel bugs, like you, to create more than 100,000 blogs and upload 3,000,000 photos so we know it works!
