What to expect
Expect long days in the saddle on technical, winding roads with sustained elevation changes. You'll be riding as a group behind a licensed captain who sets the pace—this is serious motorcycling, not casual touring. The roads are well-maintained but require concentration through tight switchbacks. Days typically involve 5–7 hours of riding with stops for fuel, food and photos. Nights are spent at comfortable mid-range hotels in provincial towns. The riding difficulty is moderate to challenging; stamina and bike control matter more than raw speed.
Good to know
Minimum 4 years riding experience required; you'll need to show your valid licence. Age 21 minimum. Bring boots if you have specific sizes—all protective gear is provided but custom sizes are better sourced beforehand. No alcohol during riding hours; evenings only. Spinal or serious cardiovascular issues make this unsuitable. Airport pickup from Chiang Mai is included.
