What to expect

You'll be fitted with a weighted helmet fitted with an air supply, then guided into shallow waters where you walk along the seafloor rather than swim or snorkel. The helmet keeps your face and hair completely dry. Expect schools of small colourful fish and coral formations at arm's length. You'll be in chest-to-shoulder-deep water for the full 30 minutes, moving slowly with your guide. The experience is more contemplative than thrilling—you're essentially strolling through an aquarium rather than diving.
