Spend a week moving between three Sicilian bases—Taormina, Syracuse and Palermo—with daily guided excursions that peel back layers of local life. You book accommodation; we handle the rest. Each day brings a small-group expedition via private minivan: volcanic slopes, baroque towns, ancient temples, street food markets and winery tastings. Your licensed local guide steers you through ordinary neighbourhoods and celebrated sites alike, revealing how Sicilians actually live rather than performing Sicily for outsiders.

What to expect

You organise three nights in Taormina, two in Syracuse, two in Palermo. From day one, a minivan collects you each morning. The first three days radiate from Taormina: you'll trek Etna's black slopes (lunch and wine included), visit the Greek theatre and Godfather sites with pasta lunch, and walk evening food markets. On day four you transfer south to Syracuse for two days exploring Ortigia's alleyways and the clifftop town of Noto with seafood lunch. Days six and seven shift you west to Palermo via the Temple Valley in Agrigento (lunch included). Most walks are gentle; Etna involves moderate climbing. All meals noted are built in.

Good to know

Confirm your Taormina duration before arrival so the operator can schedule activities. Gratuities and accommodation are your cost. Public transport exists locally if you want to strike out alone. Tours suit any fitness level, though Etna climbing is moderately strenuous. Minimum drinking age is 18.
