Ride a 2000-kilometre loop through Thailand's north over 12 days, starting and ending in Chiang Mai. You'll navigate winding mountain passes, visit centuries-old temples perched on ridges, and spend time with Karen communities in their villages. Each day covers 250–350 kilometres on a well-maintained bike, with support vehicle trailing behind. All meals, accommodation in mid-range hotels, riding gear, and entrance fees are sorted. Expect early starts, long days in the saddle, and nights in towns like Chiang Rai, Nan, and Phrae.

What to expect

You'll be on the bike 6–7 hours daily over varied terrain—sealed roads, some gravel, steep climbs, and tight switchbacks. Mornings start early to beat traffic and heat. Lunch stops are built in; dinners are at your hotel. The support vehicle follows the group, so if you break down or need to rest, help arrives quickly. Nights you'll debrief over meals with fellow riders in guesthouses and small-town hotels. This isn't casual cruising; it's proper touring with physical demands. Expect sore wrists, dust, and fatigue by day four, then your body settles.

Good to know

Bring an international driving licence and valid passport. Motorcycle and medical insurance are not included—add the $3/day cover if uninsured. All protective clothing is provided, but bring your own if you need non-standard sizes. Helmets are Thai law; gear is mandatory for safety. Not suitable if you have spinal injuries or are pregnant. Route changes may occur due to weather or road works—no refunds apply.
