What to expect

Maki collects you from the station for a short walk to the atelier. You'll begin with a relaxed warm-up to build confidence with the brush, learning basic strokes and technique. Once comfortable, you'll move to the main challenge: rendering your chosen name or word in Kanji with intention and care. The instructor guides your hand and eye throughout. Final touches include mounting your work on quality paper or a fan, ready to frame or display. Photography happens naturally as you work.
