A two-day off-road motorcycle adventure across Bali's volcanic terrain. You'll depart Ubud through rice paddies and into dense jungle, tackling black sand trails inside the Batur crater before descending towards the coast near Tulamben. Day two climbs towards Mount Agung via volcanic ridges and forest single-track, returning to Ubud by afternoon. All meals, bikes, fuel, safety kit and expert guides included.

What to expect

Expect mixed terrain ranging from packed volcanic ash to technical jungle tracks. The riding is intermediate-level with some steep descents—thrilling but manageable for anyone comfortable on a motorbike. Day one is the longer push northward; you'll feel the elevation gain climbing into the rainforest canopy. Night one ends at the coast with ocean breeze and rest. Day two reverses direction via different volcanic passes, rewarding you with varied scenery and a gentler return pace. Your guide and mechanic stay close throughout, handling logistics and any mechanical hiccups.

Good to know

Rider experience required—you must be comfortable piloting a motorcycle solo. Suitable for all fitness levels, though expect full days in the saddle and tropical heat.
