Step up from Open Water with this two-day PADI Advanced course in Bali, run by Bali Hai Diving Adventures—operators since 1992 with an unblemished safety record. You'll log five dives across two days, progressing your skills to dive confidently anywhere globally down to 30 metres. No prior advanced experience needed; the course builds directly on Open Water foundations. Training happens with small groups (4:1 instructor ratio max) and includes full gear, boat transfers, meals on training days, and your certification card.

What to expect

You'll start with theory and confined-water drills, then progress to open-water dives around Nusa Lembongan. Each day combines classroom work with practical diving—the instructors tailor pacing to your learning speed. Dives cover essential techniques: buoyancy control, navigation, deep diving, and emergency procedures. Expect a physical day on the water; boat transfers happen early. You'll need moderate fitness and must complete a medical questionnaire beforehand. If conditions turn rough or the harbour closes due to weather, departures reschedule without refund.

Good to know

Minimum age is 10. Those with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular concerns should not enrol. If you don't meet PADI's minimum standards, no refund applies—though PADI referrals (usable elsewhere) can be issued on site. Bring your own towel and camera; photography services aren't included. Single supplement charges may apply. Pick-up transport is separate.
