What to expect
You'll be picked up from your hotel and driven towards Padang Bay's eastern coastline. Once at the beach, your guide will fit you with snorkel gear and brief you on safety before heading out by boat to the lagoon. Expect clear water and abundant reef life—you'll float above branching corals and schools of tropical fish. The visibility and marine density vary with conditions, but sightings are consistent.
