What to expect
You'll gear up with helmet, harness and wetsuit, then enter the canyon where your guide talks you through each obstacle. Expect to abseil down several waterfalls, jump into pools, scramble over slick rocks and squeeze through narrow passages. The water is cold but refreshing. Most time is spent managing vertical sections safely rather than casual swimming. You need solid legs and core strength for climbing and scrambling; this isn't a gentle walk.
Good to know
Bring your own swimsuit, shoes and towel. Not suitable if you have spinal issues, are pregnant, or have poor cardiovascular fitness. Moderate fitness essential. Transport to the canyon is your responsibility.
