Learn to prepare an authentic Italian meal in a working convent kitchen overlooking Lake Como. This three-hour hands-on class teaches practical cooking techniques whilst you work alongside instructors in a purpose-built kitchen. You'll cook a pasta dish and dessert from scratch, then sit down to eat your creations paired with local wine and prosecco, with views across the water as your backdrop.

What to expect

You'll arrive to a glass of prosecco in a relaxed courtyard or terrace space. After settling in, you'll move to the kitchen where instructors walk you through preparing pasta and a sweet course. The kitchens are spacious and designed for teaching—expect to get your hands dirty, ask questions, and pick up practical tips you can replicate at home. Once cooking is done, you'll move to the dining area to enjoy your meal with wine pairings and views across Como. The pace is unhurried; this isn't a race.

Good to know

Prams and strollers are welcome if you're travelling with infants or small children. Public transport stops are nearby if you're not driving. Wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes for kitchen work.
