What to expect

You'll depart Catania and head south along a rugged coast, with sailing days broken by mooring in smaller ports. Marzamemi reveals itself as a genuine working village—narrow streets, fish markets, restaurants where locals eat. Portopalo follows a similar rhythm: less polished, more authentic. Expect to spend mornings and afternoons under sail, afternoons and evenings anchored or docked. The boat rocks with swell; if you're prone to seasickness, plan accordingly.
