What to expect

Start with the eLearning module on your device before arrival to cover theory and safety fundamentals. At the dive centre, you'll review materials with your instructor, then enter the training pool to practise basic skills in controlled conditions. Days one and two involve four open-water dives at hand-selected sites. Expect to descend gradually, demonstrate essential techniques underwater, and navigate real reef environments. Your instructor will point out marine life and explain reef conservation. Dives typically last 40–60 minutes at depths suitable for new divers. The operation prioritises small cohorts to reduce impact on fragile ecosystems.

Good to know

A medical questionnaire must be completed and approved before booking—review the diver health statement online first. National park entry fees (800 THB) are separate. You need moderate fitness; the course is unsuitable if you have spinal issues, cardiovascular concerns, asthma, or are pregnant. All scuba gear, computer and basic insurance are included.
