What to expect

You'll start with a brief overview of the tools and safety basics. Alessandro will demonstrate the fundamentals—temperature, timing, posture—then hand you the pipe. Expect your first attempts to be rough; that's the point. You'll feel the weight and resistance of the glass, see it glow, experience the heat proximity. After several tries shaping your piece, Alessandro will finish the details and place it in the annealing oven to cool properly. The whole arc takes the full 90 minutes, leaving you with something genuinely yours rather than a souvenir.

Good to know

Wear closed-toe shoes and avoid loose sleeves. The workshop is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all fitness levels. Infants can come in prams. Your finished piece will be ready to collect after cooling, or arrangements made for later pickup.
