About this tour
A four-hour private wooden boat cruise through Halong Bay's inner zones, inaccessible to larger vessels. Two daily departures let you explore two limestone caves with optional kayaking or bamboo rowing through Ba Hang lagoon and its fishing village. The boat stays dedicated to your group alone, with two decks and a sundeck, clean facilities, and a restaurant kitchen. Cave visits involve moderate stepping (Dau Go: 150 up/350 down; Thien Cung: 200 up/150 down), though both are optional.

What to expect
You'll board a classic wooden boat and spend four hours navigating Halong's protected waterways. Two cave visits break up the cruising; each requires climbing interior stone steps, though skipping either is fine. Between caves, you'll either paddle a kayak or pole a bamboo vessel into the shallow lagoon where fishing families live—bring spare clothes if kayaking appeals. The boat has dining space, clean toilets, and open-air seating. Afternoon trips may run past 4pm to make the most of daylight. Lunch is extra and must be arranged beforehand.
