What to expect
Expect a full day on two wheels. The ride starts smooth through Hoi An's outskirts, then climbs steadily into mountains. Hai Van Pass is the centrepiece—a winding road with steep drops and views across Da Nang and the coastline below. You'll pull over at a waterfall for a walk through green, humid forest. The road then descends toward Hue, passing through smaller settlements where you'll see fishing nets, market gardens and everyday village life. Pace is moderate; your guide stops for photos and brief explorations.
Good to know
Lunch is not included; pack snacks or eat en route. Entrance fees to the waterfall are separate. Wear sun protection and closed shoes. The route is not suitable for pregnant travellers or those with spinal or heart conditions. Infants need to sit with an adult; infant seats are available.
