What to expect
Expect a physically demanding day involving repeated climbs, swims through pools, and controlled rappels. You'll descend sections ranging from 10 to 40 metres using ropes and harnesses under guide supervision. The canyon alternates between tight rocky passages and open pools where you'll wade and occasionally leap. Morning starts early with breakfast before gearing up; the actual canyon work runs 3–4 hours, with lunch at a rest point. Your body will be tested—scrambling, swimming, and hanging from ropes demands genuine fitness and comfort in water.
Good to know
Minimum moderate fitness required; spine and heart conditions make this unsuitable. Pregnancy is a contraindication. Bring a change of clothes and towel. USB storage for GoPro footage costs extra. Public transport reaches the departure point. Arrive well-rested and hydrated.
