What to expect
You'll start on the Miyara River, either standing on a SUP board or seated in a canoe, gliding through dense mangrove tunnels. The paddling is relaxed—no whitewater or technical skills needed. After 1–2 hours, you'll head to Phantom Island, a remarkable patch of sand that appears and disappears with tidal swings. Once there, you'll don snorkeling gear and enter the water to swim amongst branching corals and schools of reef fish in gin-clear shallows. The "natural aquarium" lives up to its name. Expect salt water, tropical sun, and the occasional gentle current.
