About this tour
Five days exploring three of Australia's most remote national parks alongside Indigenous guides from Wulna Country. You'll navigate crocodile-inhabited waterways, trek to Jim Jim Falls, and swim in isolated pools across Kakadu, Nitmiluk and Litchfield. This isn't a conventional park tour—you're moving through country with the people who've managed it for tens of thousands of years, gaining perspective on how the land actually works. All meals included.
Highlights
- Crocodile-spotting cruise on East Alligator River
- Jim Jim Falls trek and plunge pool swim
- Guided walk through Arnhem Land with Traditional Owners

What to expect
You'll move between three parks over five days, mixing short walks, waterway cruises, and swimming. Accommodation is basic—expect camps rather than lodges. Days start early to beat heat and crowds. The croc cruise gives you genuine wildlife spotting (saltwater crocodiles are here). Jim Jim Falls involves a proper walk, not a stroll, with creek crossings and scrambling. Water temperatures vary; some pools are refreshing, others chilly. Your guides will share country knowledge incidentally—not as performance art. Humidity is intense, and you'll see red earth, escarpments, and water that genuinely matters to people.
Good to know
Moderate fitness required for walking and scrambling. Bring insect repellent, hat, and water bottle. Saltwater crocodiles are real; follow guide instructions precisely. Accommodation basic but clean. Mobile reception patchy. Park entry fees included. Best dry season (May–October).
