What to expect
You'll arrive at the studio in Shinsaibashi and select your kimono or yukata. If you add styling services, hair and makeup take around an hour. Your photographer then leads you through the neighbourhood, positioning you at temples, traditional shopfronts and quiet alleys with good light. Expect to move around steadily—wear comfortable shoes beneath your garment. The photographer captures candid and posed shots, taking around 100 frames across your session. You leave with all images on file, ready to download.
