What to expect

Six hours of gentle countryside and coastal cycling on well-maintained e-bikes—the electric motor handles the strain, so fitness level is secondary to balance and basic bike handling. Expect frequent stops: a working farm where you'll sit down with owners, a town coffee break, and a proper swim slot. The route hugs peaceful back roads and purpose-built cycle tracks; there's little traffic. Bring swimwear and a towel. You'll cover roughly 35–40 kilometres total, with mostly flat terrain and the occasional gentle slope. The pace is leisurely, built around sightseeing and tasting rather than speed.

Good to know

Lunch is on you—plan a café stop in Nardò or bring snacks. Pack sunscreen and a hat; there's limited shade on coastal sections. E-bikes are charged and ready; helmets and a 25-litre rear bag are supplied. Not suitable if pregnant or with cardiovascular concerns. Summer midday heat can be intense; early morning departures are cooler.
