What to expect
You'll board a classic wooden boat in Sorrento and motor along the jagged Amalfi shoreline, passing pastel villages clung to cliffsides. The skipper steers toward Capri, anchoring in calm bays for swimming and snorkelling—mask and fins provided. Bring a swimsuit and a towel; the water is cold even in summer. You'll have time to float, explore underwater, and simply sit with a cold drink. If you're peckish, you can eat aboard the supplied snacks or ask the crew to detour to a harborside trattoria. Expect a leisurely, social atmosphere with other guests—this isn't a high-speed thrill ride.
Good to know
Capri's landing tax is not included and payable separately. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a light cover-up. The boat rocks gently—not ideal if you're prone to seasickness. Children in prams are fine; there's deck space to store them. Book lunch ashore in advance if you prefer a specific spot.
